Hi. My name is Vidya Seejattan, and I have been teaching Mathematics and Statistics for twenty-five years in Catholic and Independent Schools in the DC, Maryland, and Virginia areas. I have taught most levels of Math, from

• SAT and ACT prep, and

• AP statistics.

I especially enjoy working one-on-one with students to overcome their math challenges and their consequent fear of a subject that should not be feared because it is a logical and beautiful subject.

My goal is to foster confidence in their abilities by helping them to understand the material through patience and humor.

I can work with your student on current work, as well as on filling in gaps that might be surfacing as they work through their current classes.
